Product Description

COLD CHECK is a chloride based, liquid admixture specifically designed to accelerate the initial and final set
times of cement based mixes in cold weather applications. Cold Check reduces initial and final set times thus
helping to protect cement based mixes from freezing.

USES and ADVANTAGES
• Cold weather protection.
• Reduces initial and final set times.
• Accelerates cement hydration and reduces set times by as much as two thirds.
• High early strength development.
• Improves workability.
• Permits early stripping of forms, faster construction.
• Increases compressive and tensile strengths.
• Increases durability of any concrete product.
• Decreases porosity of cement based mixes.
• Reduces the bleeding rate and capacity.

DOSAGE RATES
Cold Check is ready to use, do not dilute. Stir or shake well before using. Add directly to gauging water. Dosage
rate is determined by the lowest expected temperature for a period of 48 hours following placement.
